BeED is looking for a creative and talented individual to join our team as an Academic Content Writer. The Academic Content Writer will work closely with our Academic and Product teams to produce highly engaging & pedagogically sound learning contents, and impactful digital resources.

Job Responsibilities

• Research and keep up to date with the latest trends in education and technology.
• Create and review educational contents that are rich in multimedia based on tech pedagogical guidelines.
• Exhibit proficiency in the BeED system to create materials for product training.
• Develop creative templates tailored to specific industries and serving as a knowledgeable resource for consultation
• Explore industry-specific topics for content writing.
• Create pedagogical-supported, academic-focused articles for blogs and broadcasting material.
• Collaborate with Support and Training team to assist in client training.
• Support Marketing team to showcase company products from an educational perspective at conferences and fairs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Min of Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Min of 3 years working experience as academic content writer, teacher or similar roles.
• Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in either one (or more) of the following Upper Secondary subjects: Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Bahasa Malaysia, History, Economics, and Accounting
• Possess solid understanding of Pedagogical Knowledge.
• Candidates with teaching experiences are highly preferred.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills in English.
• Engaging and efficient content writing skills.
• The flexibility of writing in multiple styles for multiple formats.
• Basic media editing skills.
• Ability to think critically and conceptualize creatively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Grit to be resourceful and adaptable.
• Willingness to learn and takes initiative to grow with the team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate and takes constructive criticism professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Soft skills to work with management, co-workers, and clients.
